Sector analysis showed that the metal industry generally relies on logos locked into traditional, heavy-industry clichés.

The core challenges here were reflecting the brand's deep-rooted manufacturing experience while updating the "heavy industry" perception with a modern, advanced-technology engineering discipline, and avoiding a generic "E"-letter logo in favour of a characteristic formal language that directly evokes metalworking processes.

The goals were to visualise production power and engineering discipline by abstracting metalworking processes — layering, bending, curving — into a distinctive symbol, and to ensure strong visibility across both digital and physical surfaces, from large machinery down to small business cards.

Rather than simply placing letters side by side for an ordinary read, the aim was to build a layered structure that evokes mental engagement and discovery in the viewer, to base the design on the sense of unity and universality a circular form provides, and to ensure the design is easily perceived, simple, and clear at first glance.

In the design, the Eker Metal logo, formed by the convergence of curved metal shapes, brings industrial aesthetics together with a modern line.

The symbol consists of stacked, parallel curved lines within a deep burgundy square field. This structure represents metalworking processes, durability, and engineering discipline. The square form emphasises discipline and structure, while the flowing curves inside emphasise the brand's dynamism and continuity. This minimal yet characteristic form builds a powerful brand signature through a strong "E" formed by overlapping layers. Paired with clean, geometric, modern typography, the symbol both emphasises the first letter of the brand's name (E) and narrates a production process (metal bending). The result was optimised to deliver strong visibility on both digital and physical surfaces. With this new logo, Eker Metal gained a memorable and respected brand identity that powerfully declares both its production strength and its engineering discipline to the sector.
