Domestic Automobile TOGG logo design appeared on Twitter posts made by TOGG 6 months ago. The TOGG logo design, which became certain before the presentation, both refers to an important moment in the past in terms of perception, and reminds us of Turkey's domestic automobile journey...
The logo design of our domestic car TOGG seems to have been worked with a simple language and the letter thicknesses have been adjusted to the decision. The design is designed in a style that does not have a danger of deterioration in small and large uses. Obviously, the hand of a professional agency has been touched.
TOGG logo design has a name consisting of the initials of Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group. The letter TOGG, created by evaluating the letters in themselves, actually does not reflect the dynamism and power of the vehicle design very well. TOGG letters are perceived as a logo belonging to a group brand with softer lines. For this reason, TOGG vehicles need model names and logos. It seems that it would be better to stand out with these models. For example, let's think of TOGG as a KOÇ group, let the name PARS-SUV be a model of TOGG, and ARÇELİK is a brand of KOÇ. What I want to express here is that TOGG is not a suitable logo for the automobile brand.
In the logo, "O" must have been taken as the x value, since two "G"s were produced from 3 letters of "O". However, it may not be correct to produce letters from every ratio taken. The effort to adapt the letter "T" and the circular shape of its right end to the "O" somewhat damages the professionalism and design quality. I see this graphic process as corrupting and vulgarizing the structure of the letter T itself. On the other hand, the stance of the letters G and the emotion it wants to tell us is perceived as "talking a lot, with a wide, open and not tight chin". While the letter "T" should have a stronger and upright structure, a very ordinary letter "T" was chosen. I can definitely say that the thought of comparing "O" and "G" to automobile wheels does not reflect the TOGG logo design value and power of the domestic car that came years later.
